Chemistry Week

Our group’s deepest tradition over the years has been involving ourselves in national chemistry week.  During this week we take part in a local science exhibit at a hometown museum (Impression 5).  The week culminates with Chemistry Day which is hosted by Impression 5.  Each year, Chemistry Day has a specific theme and chemistry clubs from around the state will come and provide demonstrations and fun hands-on activities for children of all ages (yes, even parents find themselves having fun!).  A overview of last year’s event can be found here.  We have also taken on the task of holding a bake sale as a way of helping to raise funds for the event.

If you would like to help support Chemistry Day 2012 or have any questions about the event please feel free to contact us.
